Staying in Shape during the Holidays

December 4th, 2009

 Happy Holidays!x

It’s hard to believe Christmas is around the corner. This year flew by fast. With all the goodies around the table. It’s hard not to pass up a good treat. What I do to stay in shape during the holidays is drink lot’s of water. I work out a lot and get up early in the morning. I do not have a trainer that I work with. Therefore, the motivation is based soley on my drive. With holiday vacation coming in 2010. I will be working hard to shed some weight.  Most, people make execuses about getting older and say, they have gained weight due to age.  The truth is..It’s really about you being focused and determined to get what you want of your life. Stay positive and be focused!

Have a super Holiday Season.

God Bless!

Believing in Yourself

November 7th, 2009

 red

With many people looking for employment. . I’ve always been an old fashioned lady who is face to face business. Some employers insist on an employee sending a resume and “we will get back to you” if needed. I understand there are ton’s of people looking for jobs. What if you knew you we’re the one for the job and would do a great job.  I make a simple telephone call (gate keeper) comes on board and say’s “Sorry” no phone calls. Okay, 2nd, I stop by to drop off resume in person. Seems liked it works -vs- internet.

Sometimes, it’s good if no one ever hears of your name. An unbiased person can help open doors. I have over 20 years of sales experience and years of being a female spokesperson.  If, I like the product it sells. Most, of all though..I believe in myself and my positive attitude. At one time, an employer paid a fee to hire me.  I had little experience. They took a risk on me. One year later with that company, I was a success and so we’re they..

Take a risk on people..You simply have to take a chance on people and think outside the box. I never thought, I could start and finish the piece of “Tranquility of the Waterfall”  http://www.youtube.com/Jennifer045 with  2 people only.  Believe in yourself when no one believes in you. Proves POWER over mind.

God bless.

Jennifer Lauren

Crossing the Line - Film Project

October 16th, 2009

Greetings!

I finished my first small film project. Check out on http://www.youtube.com/Jennifer045

We filmed the project in a small town where the characters needed to be best suited. My character had to look rough looking. It’s amazing what makeup does. The newspaper publisher came by while we we’re shooting last week. We we’re delighted to get free air publicity.

We we’re written up with an article and images on location in Wednesday’s paper. Yeah!

Thanks to Butch for driving his motorcycle to our location on a cold day in Minnesota. BBBRR

Love ya!
